We here at the First United Methodist Church are very proud of our music programs. We have our Chancel Choir which is open to adults and young adults from the 7th grade through as long as you will stay with us. The Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm and sings during almost every Sunday morning services. The Choir also performs two special Cantatas or programs during the year such as Christmas, Easter or a Patriotic program, etc..

We are also blessed to have a Worship Team which leans toward a more contemporary style of music. The Worship Team sings during the year as well as at community events and other churches.

We also have two children’s Choirs which are under the leadership of our Children’s Director, Melissa Boswell. The Pre-school is for ages 3, 4 and 5 and meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm. The Children’s Choir for 1st through 6th grade also meets on Wednesday at 6:00 pm and performs a couple of musicals during the year.
